AAMC’s E-A-M Model
Preparing for a career as a health care professional is very challenging. It will require you to work very hard for a very long time. Health professional schools will assess you in three main areas: Experiences, Attributes, and Metrics (E-A-M). To gain admission to health professional schools, you will need to provide evidence of very strong E-A-M’s in order to prove your ability to be a successful health professional school student and future health care practitioner.
